Editorial: The smallest axe in the PROKUT range, sometimes referred to as a hatchet or
Tomahawk is packed with features for safety and comfort during use. The axe head is
forged from high quality carbon steel with the cutting edge hardened and tempered
to 48-52 Rockwell. The head is bonded into place with industrial strength resin
glue for the tightest possible fit, the head also has a protective varnish coating
for minimal friction and maximum corrosion/rust resistance. The handle is
manufactured from high quality fibreglass (>60%) / polypropylene composite for
ultimate strength, and features Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) handle grips for
comfort, abrasion resistance and strength. A second specially designed TPR insert
protects the handle from incidental impact near the axe head. The axe includes a
handy and clever retail display hanger which covers and protects the cutting edge.
